Mangaluru: MP Nalin meets PM Modi, apprises of progress in district

Mangaluru, Aug 2: Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament (MP) Nalin Kumar Kateel met Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and apprised him of the progress in the district made in Mudra and Janadhan, the dream schemes of PM. 

Nalin handed over to the Prime Minister a report of encouraging 1.12 lac people to become entrepreneurs by extending Rs 1,600 crore loan. The Prime Minister commended this work by the MP. The PM later held a meeting with the union secretary of finance Rajiv K R. The PM asked Rajiv K R to implement the schemes in the entire country and make it a model and also fully cooperate to implement other schemes of the Centre in Dakshina Kannada district. The PM and the officials of the finance ministry congratulated the MP for his work. 

The MP also submitted an appeal to the Prime Minister regarding pending projects and new projects in the district. The PM responded that he is very fond of the people in Dakshina Kannada district. He assured that he will be holding a meeting with officials regarding the appeal. He said he will ask the officials to cooperate with regarding project implementations in the future. 

The requests included establishing a Central University in Dakshina Kannada district, IT Park, Super Specialty Hospital or All India Institute of Medical Science, upgrading fisheries college and expedite approval of pending projects in the district.

    In the first photo looks like the PM is surprised to a person in his office. The PM does not know him, he his surprised to see him. Nalin should have taken a photo of the Pumpwell flyover.

    Yes NK should have taken Aadhar card, pan card, passport, bank passbook, DL,, etc and introduced himself. Modi is really not sure who the visitor is.

    Good move. Keep it up. Hope Nalin will take all communities with him. He needs to keep in his mind that, BJP or Congress/CPM/other political party members are also Indian Citizens. Also, all religions followers even Indians. If Nalin goes with what I said, sure no one can defeat him next election too.
