Mangaluru: Dengue cases receding - 74 admitted into hospitals

Mangaluru, Aug 3: Even as confirmed dengue cases are on the decline in Dakshina Kannada district, 74 persons suffering from different kinds of fever got admitted into various hospitals on Friday August 2.

The officials of health department said that a number of patients are recovering and getting discharged from hospitals on a daily basis. The officials said that dengue cases are on the decline.

At the same time, Udupi district witnessed 50 malaria and 99 dengue cases from January till August 2 this year.

Health department sources said that two new dengue cases have been found during this week in the district.

    Our administration must appoint temporary cleaners in all wards in Mangalore immediately . No use of meetings with MLAs and all. In Every ward 4 to 5 cleaners with one tempo to clear the debris. This should continue till rainy season. Surely we can control Dengue .

    Keep your house and surroundings clean because garbage breeds mosquitoes.
    To prevent the mosquitoes from breeding do not allow rain waters to get accumulated in your surroundings.
    Our sincere thanks to the DC of Dakshina kannada Sasikanth Senthil for giving awareness programme ,banners, to drive out mosquitoes.

    Mr Ka - MLA should concentrated on live issues not the CCTV camera proposals ! he should go around the area and check how the people throwing their household waste on side of the roads and sponsored a breeding field to the mosquitoes ! We INDIAN are how grateful to each others to create HAVOC and help to get sick and die !
