Mangaluru: Private bus rams into electric pole, passengers escape with minor injuries

Mangaluru, Aug 3: A private bus crashed into an electric pole in Chilimbi, near Ladyhill, on Saturday, August 3, after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The bus was on its way from Hejmady to Mangaluru. Passengers of the bus escaped with minor injuries.

Traffic was thrown out of gear for some time after the incident.

Urva station police arrived at the spot and conducted investigation.

    Thank God there were casualties in this accident. From the picture, I feel that the electric pole saved the lives of all on board the bus.
