Tarikere, Aug 4: BJP MLA C T Ravi had to stop his speech about Hindutva in a programme by Sanehalli Dr Panditaradhya Swamiji.

C T Ravi had started to speak in the programme 'Matthe Kalyana'. As he started to speak on Hindutva, he was asked to stop his speech and get down from the dais by revered Swamiji.

Sanehalli Sahamatha Vedike and district welcome committee had organized 'Matthe Kalyana' programme at the Akka Nagalambike Aikya Mantapa in Tarikere town of the taluk. MLA C T Ravi, who was sitting among the audience, was given an opportunity to speak. Ravi began to speak on Hindutva as soon as he went to the stage. The Swamiji, who noticed this, made a sign at him to stop his speech.

While asking to stop the speech, Sanehalli Dr Panditaradhya Swamiji clarified to BJP MLA C T Ravi and said, "All will not accept your opinion. We wish to see a country inhabited by people belonging to all kinds of religions. All have to be united to build a nation."

C T Ravi stopped his speech, the moment he was asked to do so by the Swamiji and left the stage.
