Pls check the Facts. These Buffalos look like young ones and from the market. May be bought for PLoughing / agricultural purposes…. Farming Buffalos may be. it is worth investigating and not to kill the person transporting with out checking...

we are possibly lucky now since a few years agriculture has become uneconomical and we have discontinued farming. we used to have 4 Buffalos then we had 2 and now no buffalos and no farming.
can you imagine bringing Buffalo walking from " Kundapura Pair " as our grand fathers / and older generation used to do after the cultivation selling the old ones and buying new ones to train and use for next season?

Police must give escort to such Farm use Buffalo Transporting and Police must catch if any slaughter transport happens. BUT do not Kill the transporter..... check before you kill a Human being.... an honest Farmer struggles whole season only to be killed by mindless criminals who have no value for life and this has happened many a times.
Police better be on Guard and not leave the Law and Order to the Fringe....

Under THE KARNATAKA PREVENTION OF COW SLAUGHTER AND CATTLE PRESERVATION ACT, 1964 what is the legal way to transport livestock?

It is the duty of the District commissioner and Law enforcement to educate the citizen's legal way to transport the livestock.

I don't see buffaloes is worshiped in India. But only has a reference of being used as vehicles of the Hindu God Yama—the male buffalo.

The vehicle is overloaded neither buffalo seems mistreated. Section 9 only states the - Prohibition of sale, purchase or disposal of cow or calf of she--buffalo for slaughter.

I would like to request the officer to release legal advisory The KARNATAKA PREVENTION OF COW SLAUGHTER AND CATTLE PRESERVATION ACT, 1964.

Chaddies are involved in all the cow trading business, they are also involved in getting them caught.
They sell it for good money and get it caught and get back the cow..
    The cycle repeats..
The buyer should video record everything when the deal takes place.

I think the seller himself informs the police once he receives his money from the buyer. He received his money and also ensured that livestock is sent to goshala..what an idea sirji.
