Mangaluru, Aug 25: All regions of coastal Karnataka experienced moderate to heavy rains on Saturday, August 24.
There was cloudy atmosphere throughout the day though it rained in intervals. Mosaru Kudike programmes held in every village of the coast, as part of Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, were interrupted in many places.
The meteorological department has said that there will be moderate to heavy rains from August 25 to 27. It has issued an orange alert on rains for the next three days.
On Sunday too, cloudy weather is seen almost everywhere in the region.
