Kundapur: One dead, another injured as bike, scooter collide head-on

Kundapur, Aug 26: In an accident that occurred on the evening of Sunday, August 25 between a bike and a scooter at the junction near Molahalli School under Kota police station limits, the male rider of one bike died on the spot, while the female rider of the other bike suffered serious injuries.

The person who died in the accident was identified as local resident Nandish (26). The woman rider who suffered serious injuries was identified as Sushmita (32).

The deceased Nandish was riding his bike from Koteshwar to Hunsemakki, while Sushmita was trying to enter the main Hunsemakki road on her scooter from an inside diversion.

The bike rider died on the spot due to the impact and the scooter rider received grievous injuries to her head and face. She was admitted to a hospital in Manipal.

A case in this regard is registered at Kota police station.

    Outdoor traffic convex mirror helps to avoid accidents in such intersections, narrow roads, sharp curves.

    Please take initiative and install near your house wherever it is required by taking necessary permission, do not wait for the Govt. for such services. In this way we can do some thing for our country.
