Karjol, Ashwath N, Savadi : 3 Deputy CMs in Yediyurappa government

Bengaluru, Aug 26 (IANS) The B.S. Yediyurappa government in Karnataka will have three Deputy Chief Ministers, an official notification said on Monday.

Governor Vajubhai Vala has appointed Govind Karjole, C.N. Ashwath Narayan and Laxman Savadi as Deputy Chief Ministers, on the advice of Chief Minister Yediyurappa, a Raj Bhavan communique said.

The governor has also allotted portfolios to the other 14 ministers. The allocation came nearly a week after the 17 ministers were sworn-in on August 21.

Yediyurappa, 76, became the Chief Minister for the fourth time on July 26 and won vote of confidence in the Assembly on July 29.

    however Shoba's old MLA consituency Yasavantpura seat is vacant due to disqualification of present MLA Somashekar, so she can contest by election in same place and win. Then Shoba is definitely Minister in Yeddi's Government

    Congratulations, I believe they are going to make 30 rather than 3 DCM, Each district will have one DCM that would help to develop our Karnataka as singapore .

    Quick decision and quick action......., thats what public wanted to get full benifit from government. Why people from belgavi need to travel banglore ? or Manglorean need to travel banglore to meet DCM. Lets have each district one DCM.
