Kalaburagi: Ghastly accident claims lives of five from same family

Kalaburagi, Aug 28: In an accident which happened near Savalagi road bend on Kalaburagi-Aland inter-state highway in the wee hours on Tuesday August 27, five members of the same family perished. 

The accident occurred as the tyre of the Scorpio vehicle burst when the vehicle was on the move. It then smashed into a lorry that had been stopped on the road. 


The deceased were Sanjaykumar Chadachana (29) from Chinchpur in Solapur, Maharashtra, Rani Chadachana (26), Bhagyashree Alagi (22), and childlren, Shreyank (3) and Dheeraj (2).

    The stopping the vehicle without hazardous light or signs is dangerous and why the Police Patrol did not fine the driver ? Several years ago Shanker Nag died as there was a lorry parked on the road.
    We have build highways, bridges, under pass but there is no strict traffic penalties. Can anyone stop their vehicle on the road - outside India without hazard lights/signs?

    Our traffic police department does not punish the idiots who use high beam lights unnecessarily.
    High beam lights causes temporary blindness which results in fatal accidents.
