Mysuru: CM's nephew behaves rudely with police, draws flak

Daijiworld Media Network – Mysuru (EP)

Mysuru, Aug 29: Ever since B S Yediyurappa became the chief minister, several instances where his relatives are reportedly showing high-handedness are being reported in media.

On Thursday afternoon, Yediyurappa’s sister’s son Rajesh allegedly spoke in a rude manner to senior police officials after they did not allow the activists accompanying him to visit the chief minister.

Yediyurappa had visited the Chamundi Hills in Mysuru on August 29. His nephew Rajesh accompanied by activists had come to meet him. However, the ACP and DCP did not allow the activists inside.

The police told Rajesh that in view of CM’s protocol and security, people in large numbers cannot be allowed to visit him. This upset Rajesh, who reportedly threw a tantrum and demanded that the activists are allowed inside.

A video of Rajesh threatening to transfer the ACP and DCP is doing rounds on social media platforms. The police are seen looking at him helplessly. A tense situation prevailed at Chamundi Hills after the incident.

Such a shame.... If your family member is a Politician that doesn't mean you should fight or show anger against the police.....

Everyone has equal rights.. The police are doing their duty so that doesn't mean he should fight n show his influence..

This is an act of public stunt to show that he is a relative and he has power to do anything.... If he had permit, he would have shown it to the police rather than showing his anger.. But he doesn't have it so it's the duty of the police to take action against such Heroism...

Ppl who disagree with me will say he is his mama, papa and what not but this is not the first time they are doing this..

If they want to become famous, they should go and help the poor and the flood affected people.. Where is the 3000 Crore money sanctioned to the party to help the flood affected people???

80% of it is looted... Shameful.. I feel pity for the people suffering..

God have mercy on us all

Police does not need to worry where they had Annamalai & have Channanavar at present for their help.
Those nieces, nephews, sons & daughters must be put behind bars if they found guilty without hesitation.
    Long live KARNATAKA police.
