The deceased boy is identified as Murudeshwar Janata colony resident Gagan Ishwar Naika(27). The girl is Sangeeta Madeva Naika(24) resident in Kaikini grama panchayat limits, Bedaramane. Gagan had worked in a construction company in Tarikere, Shivamogga a few months ago and was telling his friends that he would go to work again in another two months.

Gagan and Sangeeta, who went to Anantawadi forest on Wednesday afternoon consumed poison between 1 pm and 1.30 pm. As Gagan informed about it to one of his friends, his friends and brother immediately rushed to Anantawadi searching for the lovers for about two hours. It is said that Gagan had become too weak by the time they found the duo. The two were then taken in a rickshaw to RNS Hospital. But Gagan had died by the time they reached the hospital. There is no issue in this universe which cant be solved through dialogues. We must sit and discuss things and not resort to suicide. I feel sad for the young people who attempted suicide When people are in love they must be allowed to marry Parents must realize this and give permission Love is beyond money social status or caste. Love is sacred and family members must recognizance this feeling in the couple. I feel very sad at the incident

In God's eyes there are only two religions one is Good, another one is evil.

Love, joy, peace, self-control, patience, gentleness, kindness, humility, godliness, holiness, charity... comes from God.

Lust, pride, anger, envy, hatred, jealousy, selfishness, greed, gluttony, addictions, attachments... comes from evil

    Also,

Faith, hope, trust and unity... comes from God.

Fear, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, lack of trust, disunity... comes from evil.

One need to self check their thoughts and correct oneself.

Or simply continuously love the thoughts as and when they come, to surrender those negative thoughts to God, as God is Love, to gradually overcome them instead of ending the Life. Or go for counselling.

Why they should fear much when they belonged to same Naika family.
Are there gothras not allowed to marry as belonged to same family.
By the way informing them boy or girl is wrong. They are grown-up individuals. What they actually achieve after commiting suicide. Are some one received proposal from other family to marry and therefore not able to live without one another. Do love happens..still not taste the same. Thanks Lord not giving chance to fall on the same. zindagi kharab ho jayegee..

29 and 24 are too old to get scare of their elders that too are well settled and self dependent.
According to WHO data, the age standardized suicide rate in India is 16.4 per 100,000 for women (6th highest in the world) and 25.8 for men (ranking 22nd).
It is believed that the basic teachings of our religious scriptures does effect our daily life for those who practice it well which is lacking in majority community comparing to Arab and muslim world where the suicide rate recorded almost nothing.

Tragic. This could have avoided easily. They should have informed familys about their intention and ask first.Parents want their children only best.Afterall they studied.Fearing about parents ,take poison ,thinking will not allow is a coward action. They should have strong will, love really ,then can overcome any problems.sad it ended so.Heartfelt sympathy to boys and girls family.Even when girl survives ,will be faced with case, and health too will not be so as before.second he already died.what will be her future?May the soul of the boy rest in peace.
