Mangaluru: Unidentified body found in Phalguni River

Mangaluru, Aug 30: An unidentified dead body was found in the Phalguni River opposite to the Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat government high school at Kasaba Bengre. 

The body was noticed by the locals at around 11 am on Thursday, August 29 and was brought to the bank of the river by them. 

The deceased is a male, aged about 55 to 60 years, wearing a black pant, full sleeve shirt having blue stripes on it, a saffron colour vest, black belt on his waist. There is a thread around his waist also which has a tayita on it.

 

The dead body is kept at Wenlock Hospital.
