Madikeri: Actor Huccha Venkat thrashed by public for crazy behaviour

Madikeri, Aug 30: In a bizarre incident that occurred in the city on Thursday, August 29, the public, who were sick of the crazy behaviour of Sandalwood actor Huccha Venkat, thrashed him. 

The local youths got enraged by Huccha Venkat as he attacked a youth and damaged his car. Later, the actor was handed over to the police. 

Huccha Venkat appeared suddenly at the KSRTC bus stand of the city on the afternoon of Thursday. He was standing by the side of the road. A youth named Dileep asked him out of curiosity whether he is indeed Huccha Venkat. The actor suddenly got wild and started to assault the youth. The youth ran for his safety. At this instance Huccha Venkat threw stone at the windshield of the car and damaged it also. 

The public, who witnessed the craziness of the actor, thrashed him and handed him over to the city police station. The police gave good advice to the actor. It is learnt that earlier, Huccha Venkat was roaming alone at Pandavapura also and the police had warned and asked him to leave from the town.

    None from kannada film industry coming forward to help him though they know his present condition since some time , sad and surprising. If it was reel life the so called heroes would have helped him but alas its real life so no one ? not surprised.

    For the namesake the actor is 'Huccha' or in reality, the dignity humanity must be respected. We Kanndigas don't want this culture of 'Mob Lynching' in Karnataka.

    One doesn't become insane because of his name or behavior. But watching the video's I felt there are more insane people than the one who got attacked.

    I request the Law and enforcement authority to take strict action against those people involved in mob lynching and put an end to this lynching culture.

    Save Karnataka being another Jarkhand.

    Why are the Sandalwood is not asking for an action?

    When he is named as Huchha ; what would you expect - the mentally healthy people who
    tortured him to be blamed. He should be treated for his huchha disability and bring him back to normalcy instead of thrashing him in public.

    The actor must be going thru' some sort of mental illness, such as depression. Instead of manhandling him, the people should have taken him to police, which they did only after attacking him very badly. It's a bad behaviour from the public.

    If I get a chance and opportunity, i want to counsel him and understand . there must be something bothering him to act like this. Over powering a lone person is not right, the way they beat him shows how low an individual can go. Very sad to see this kind of incidents.

    Something much needed. This guy has been doing all this nonsense in different places and this was definitely in store for him. There's difference between acting in real life and movies. I fail to understand if he needs medical help cos I have seen him on big boss where he would talk decently with Sudeep buy act like a psycho again with the housemates. Hope this is a lesson that keep acting in movies and be normal in public, movie stars are surrounded for autographs and photographs, only idiots get beaten up like this..

    When there is group of people, some people want to become hero but when they are alone, they run for their life. These are real cowards.

    Kannada film industry has got enough money to take care of Venkat, this is the not the first time he is becoming violent.

    Very good job by the public.. Well done... I feel very proud of actions like this..

    Citizens should react and fight the same way with rapists, murders and other corrupted politicians who misuse power in public.

    They should be beaten up the same way..
