Mangaluru: Drunken man saved after jumping off Netravati Bridge

Mangaluru, Aug 30: A man was saved by locals after he jumped off Netravati Bridge on Friday, August 30. 

Padmanabha (35) is the person who was saved. He was taken to a hospital subsequently. 

As per details available now, Padmanabha, from Nagori in city, was drunk while he jumped off the bridge. The local people, who saw him jumping, came to his rescue. 

There have been many instances of people jumping off this bridge to commit suicide which includes Café Coffee Day founder Siddhartha Hegde who ended life in July this year.
