Mumbai, Aug 31: A 34-year-old Andheri resident Nitesh Dasale was arrested along with his associate for allegedly duping two senior citizens in Chembur. Including this case, it is for the 104th time that Dasale is arrested.
Dafale alias Deepak Patil, has 104 cases registered against him in three states including murder, attempt to murder, extortion, theft and cheating since 2007 said officials from Tilak Nagar police who arrested him. Dafale, who is from Kolhapur, stayed at J B Nagar in Andheri with his wife and three children.
As reported in Indian Express, an officer said, "When we checked his history sheet, we learnt that he had earlier been arrested 103 times by different police stations in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Karnataka and Hyderabad. His first crime was in 2007, when he allegedly stabbed a person in Thane in a fit of rage. He was arrested under Section 307 (attempt to murder) and lodged in jail.
Dafale was arrested by the Karnataka police earlier this year for theft. He, however managed to escape from custody of the escorting policemen whilst being taken to jail. “After fleeing from Dharwad court, he came to Mumbai where he stayed with his family and continued committing crimes,” the officer added.
