Byndoor: Head-on collision of cars - One dead, three suffer serious injuries

Byndoor, Aug 31: A hotel entrepreneur of Bhatkal died and three people suffered serious injuries in an accident that occurred at Naikanakatte under Byndoor police station limits on the afternoon of Saturday, August 31.

Noorul Amin (48), who runs a hotel in Bhatkal is the one who lost his life in the accident. Noorul was returning from the Mangaluru International Airport when the mishap took place. The Maruti Swift car driven by Noorul jumped the divider and hit the Hyundai Eon car that was plying on the other side of the road. Though Noorul Amin, who was seriously injured in the accident was taken to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries there. It is learnt that three people in the Eon car including woman suffered serious injuries.

Both the cars were severely mangled due to the impact of the accident. Byndoor PSI Timmesh B N and personnel visited the spot of the accident and registered a case.
