Beltangady, Aug 31: A murder accused who was released on bail on August 28, raped a minor girl on August 29 and is arrested by the police.

Prasad, a resident of Kantarabettu of Arambodi village near Venoor in the taluk is the culprit who is accused of taking a minor girl to the hillock nearby forcefully, raping her and threatening with murder if the act is revealed to others. Venoor police have arrested the culprit on Friday, August 30.

It is accused that Prasad, went to the house of the girl, belonging to the scheduled caste and abused her in filthy language and made her sit on his Activa scooter and took her to hill at Hanneradukavalu and raped her.

Prasad is the main accused in the murder case of Sudarshan Jain of Moodbidri that took place in 2018. He was released on bail only on August 28 and carried out this heinous crime on August 29.

    It looks like Jail and Bail are 2 sides of same coin.

    If judge give only jail
    Then no work 4 him and liars (lawyers)
    If bail they sure
    he will com back again to jail,
    It looks like economy
    If money spend gets circulated,
    If no spending we all know,no business.
    To do business at least they have to bail someone who will return again.
    In India rapist first and murderers second left in bail and evon scot free.

    MM mangalore,,down with your sharia law.We are in a democratic land .and criminals get even death sentance at the most.Even a innocent might come under such sentence.Here full fault is on our judges,and all who work for money not considering the criminals acts.How many of these politicians should have already behind bars?How many police are working as normal,and how many are for money?This fellow shouldnt have come out.Now arrest him and the one who gave bail too and give them life ling.

    India's justice system is one of the lowest at all time. Even the common man due to the current political system and connection become fearless of crime.
    I have no idea how the Judge can consider the bail when the case is still pending against the accused?

    In this nation slogans of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' is only chanted. Even the judge and defense lawyer seems to have no value of for these lines.

    Rajya Sabha passes POCSO (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The POCSO (Amendment) Bill will make punishment more stringent for committing sexual crimes against children including the death penalty.

    The Kanndigas want this Judge from his post. At the same time implement POCSO law to end this case.

    We Kanndigas don't want Karnataka becoming another rape capital of India like Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and see our 'Beti's suffering like Unnao case.

    Is jail food increases this much "charbi" and "ahankar". He is thinking that it's an award for him when he gets arrested each time!! Release... Release him again after two months and arrest immediately on the next day ...no shame.. God alone knows how he is showing his filthy face in his neighbourhood... ????!!
