Mangaluru, Aug 31: Mangaluru city police commissioner Dr P S Harsha, summoned the executives of various food delivery apps, as well as those who give cars and bikes on rent, to address the rash and negligent driving issues.

In the recent days, the traffic police received several complaints that the food delivery boys drive negligently and many a times exceed speed limit, in order to make quick deliveries for better ratings.

The issue was brought to the notice of P S Harsha, who immediately called a meeting to address the issue.

He later took to twitter, to announce he has convened the meeting and asked the executives to follow the guidelines.

For some time now I have been observing various precautions outlined by Dr. Harsha together with his two Deputies Mr. Mr. Ganeshand Mr. Giri

I have also observed that earlier he had taken steps against erring bus drivers and other public transport vehicle drivers.

It is my hope that very soon I will be there to coordinate with these officers and ensure safety of people.

Police and politicians always advice common people regarding safety but why can't they look after bad roads. If we wear helmet also because of pathole back bone will damage.
First they should be educated. If they really caring us, immediately roads should be repaired.
