Mangalore: Journalists celebrate Press Club Day

Mangalore, Jul 1: The Press Club Day programme organized by Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association and Mangalore Press Club, was held at Patrika Bhavan here on Wednesday July 1.

The exhibition of the photographs taken by the photo-journalists was inaugurated by veteran photographer and owner of Balco Studio here, Shantaram Rao. Senior journalist Manohar Prasad initiated the blog of the Journalists Association.

Experienced photographer Yajna shared his rich experience by giving information about photography. Shantaram Rao was felicitated on the occasion.

Harsha, president of Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association, presided. Mangalore Press Club president Anand Shetty was present.

Association general secretary Guruvappa N T Balepuni welcomed. Treasurer Yogish Holla proposed vote of thanks. Press Club general secretary P B Hariprasad Rai presented the programme.
