Puttur: Man arrested for communally provocative post on Facebook

Puttur, Sep 1: A milk vendor was arrested for posting a message on Facebook, which contained demeaning and derogatory words about the girls of a particular community. He has been remanded to judicial custody. 

Praveen Gowda, who has a milk booth in Uppinangady, is the person against whom a lady Zarina had filed a complaint in the Uppinangady police station accusing him of spreading communally provocative message from his Facebook account on various social media platforms. 


Accordingly, the police arrested Praveen Gowda.
