Mangaluru: Orange alert in coast for 2 days - Heavy rains expected during feast

Mangaluru, Sep 2: The meteorological department has declared orange alert in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts for September 2 and 3. 

Moderate to heavy rains are expected throughput the coast on Monday and Tuesday. 

Monday, being the day of Ganesha Chaturthi feast, the rains are likely to affect the celebrations in public.
