Puttur, Sep 2: Police have arrested K Sajuddin (34), a resident of Chikkamudnoor for behaving in an indecent manner with a girl, who was travelling with him as a co-passenger in the auto rickshaw.
The girl was travelling in the auto rickshaw driven by her father. When Sajuddin started troubling her, she immediately informed the same to her father.
When the father stopped the auto rickshaw, the culprit got out and escaped from the spot.
Later, police searched and apprehended the accused.
A POCSO case is filed against the accused in the Puttur women police station.
