Bengaluru: Dejected at lacklustre treatment - Disqualified legislators give vent to dismay

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 6: The disqualified legislators who have grown impatient over delay of the petition filed by them in the Supreme Court questioning their disqualification, poured out their frustration. Former JD(S) state president and MLA H Vishwanath, met chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa, and confronted him with sharp questions over the changed attitude of BJP leadership towards them after the formation of the new government.

Vishwanath pointed out that their petition in the Supreme Court had not been heard even after 40 days, duly reminding the CM that he had promised to see that the petition is heard urgently. "Promises are being forgotten. We are being overlooked with each passing day. We do not approve of this attitude," Vishwanath told the CM in no uncertain terms.

Yediyurappa told Vishwanath that their petition will most likely be heard during this week and that everything will fall in line soon. The legislators are learnt to have also expressed unhappiness at deputy chief minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, who they said, has not even been receiving their phone calls. Their main ire was towards Ashwath Narayan, sources said.

The petition filed by these legislators is being taken up by the Supreme Court on September 11.

History has the evidence of the ultimate fate of traitors, conspirators and double crossing wretches like Ambhi, Jaychand, Mir Jaffer, etc. We pity you guys. You aren't not worthy even to live in our land. You have betrayed the people. So, go and hide your faces, if you have any shame.
