Mangaluru, Sep 6: Sindhu B Rupesh has been appointed as new deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district.
The state government in a communication dated Friday, September 6, transferred Sindhu Rupesh to Mangaluru as DC.
Sindhu Rupesh was the CEO of Udupi zilla panchayat till now.
Hitherto DC Sasikanth Senthil stands transferred. He incidentally resigned from his IAS post on Friday, September 6, hours before the transfer order was sent.
Sindhu is a BE graduate from Mysuru and IAS officer from 2011 batch. She secured first rank in the civil service exam in the state.
