Rome, Sep 11 (IANS/AKI): A shipment of over 10 tonnes of medicines and relief medical and hygiene supplies reached the port of Tripoli from southern Italy on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Italian supplies will provide healthcare assistance to the Libyan population and to the migrants and refugees affected by the protracted conflict that is wracking the North African country, the statement said.
