Mumbai, Sep 10: Bhandary Seva Samiti held its 66th annual meeting at Mulund west on September 8 evening.

President of the Samiti, advocate R M Bhandary presided over the meeting. Vice president Prabhaker P Bhandary Thane, honorary treasurer Karunaker S Bhandary, ladies wing president Shalini R Bhandary, vice president Rekha A Bhandary, honorary secretary Jayasudha T Bhandary, former president and advocate Shekar S Bhandary were on the dais.

A silent prayer was said for all the Bhandary community members and elite who passed away during the last year. Vinod Bhandary Dombivli, Vijayanand Bhandary and Prakash Bhandary Dombivli expressed their opinions and gave suggestions on behalf of the audience.

Honorary chief secretary, Shashidhar D Bhandary welcomed the gathering, read the previous year’s report and activities. Joint secretary Ranjith S Bhandary tabled the annual accounts. Shalini Ramesh Bhandary sang a prayer song. Vice president Purushotham G Bhandary proposed the vote of thanks.

The meeting concluded after the National Anthem.
