Rawalpindi, Sep 21 (IANS): A Pakistani cleric has been arrested on the charge of sexually molesting a minor madrasa student in Rawalpindi, police said.
The arrest was made on Friday on the basis of a medical examination of the 12-year-old student, reports Dawn news.
Although the cleric has been arrested, the police has decided to conduct a DNA test.
"All measures will be taken to investigate the case on merit, including conducting a DNA test and other legal formalities," a police official said.
