Mumbai, Sep 23: The Kannada department of Mumbai university held a programme on comedy inaugurated by well-known comedian Gangavati Pranesh in memory of Beechi at Santacruz east on Saturday morning, September 21. The programme was presided over by Kannada department head and professor Dr G N Upadhya.
Pranesh in his speech stressed on the need of humor in our lives.
Shashikala Hegade, Kala Bhagwat and Sushila S Devadiga presented songs. Dr G N Upadhya welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction. Popular artiste Jay C Salian presented guests their pictures. Kannada department assistant professor Dr Poornima S Shetty introduced the guests and compered the programme.
