Mumbai, Sep 26: Popular educational institute for professional studies, International Institute Training Center held a workshop on travel and tourism for its students of travel and tourism and IATA students at Hotel Leela Kempenski, Andheri east on Tuesday, in association with Italian tourist board. Italian ENIT Mumbai representative Salvatore Lanniyillo conducted the seminar.
IITC director Vikrant Urval gave an introductory address.
Resource persons, Rail Europe manager Bela Shah spoke about Italian train travel network, Corp and Trade Cruiser manager, Vasudhara Guptha about Italian ship travel, Belmonde Hotel Italy marketing manager, Sonal Salian about luxury hotels in Italy, opportunities for tourism in India and various countries of the world including Rome, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Milan and grand weddings in India. It was followed by questions and answers.
IITC director Sandesh Urval, Nikhil Sampath, Shanker Pande, Sunil Shevdale, Vandana Jain, Pavitra Rai, Divya Lakur, Isha Bedekar, Thoral Thakker, Muralidhar Bhat Dombivli and other elite were present. Italy’s consul general Stephania Costana welcomed the gathering. Vikrant Urval and Reena V Urval presented bouquets and mementos to the resource persons and felicitated them. IITC fashion sector professor, management guru, Professor Syrus Gonda and Umesh Fervani compered the programme. Nikhil Sampath rendered the vote of thanks.
