Michael Sheen becomes father again

Los Angeles, Sep 28 (IANS): "Good Omens" star Michael Sheen and girlfriend Anna Lundberg have welcomed their first child together.

The couple welcomed a baby girl, reports dailymail.co.uk.

The 50-year-old actor's father Meyrick, 80, confirmed that the 25-year-old Swedish actress had given birth.

"We are thrilled to bits, over the moon," Meyrick said.

He also shared that he has seen pictures of the baby, adding that it was "great news". He celebrated the moment with his wife by "raising a glass".

Sheen teased his baby's arrival on social media on Thursday, tweeting, "Nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands - e e cummings."

This comes after the "Good Omens" star confirmed that he was expecting his first child with Lundberg in July, just two months after they were initially romantically linked in May following a series of social media posts.

"Very happy to let everyone know that my partner Anna and I are expecting a little angel of our own. (Just to be clear, we're having a baby!)," he posted on Twitter.

Michael shares daughter Lily Mo Sheen, 20, with his former lover Kate Beckinsale. He had previously said that parenting is the "most challenging" job yet he said it is a necessary and rewarding role.
