Mangaluru: Dynasty and democracy do not go together – Muralidhar Rao

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Sep 29: “The abrogation of article 370 has helped SC/ST and OBC community for the purpose of reservation,” said BJP national general secretary and in charge of Karnataka P Murlidhar Rao.

Addressing media here on Sunday, September 29, Muralidhar Rao said, “Congress is against SC/ST and OBC community. So they oppose the abrogation of article 370. Even the people of Jammu and Kashmir believe that the violence in the state has come down after the scrapping of the article 370 and 35A,”

“We should stop opting for dynastic administration as we are a democratic country. Dynasty and democracy do not go together. The abrogation of article 370 has helped the SC/ST and OBC community to enjoy the facility of reservation. Congress is opposed the move to scrap the article 370, which indicates that they support separatists. Congress needs to admit that it also supports Pakistan,” he added.

When asked about providing party tickets for disqualified MLAs in the coming assembly elections, Muralidhar Rao said, “So far the disqualified MLAs have not applied for any membership. As of now there is no question of providing ticket to anyone as there is a lot of procedure that needs to be followed. We are confident that BJP will win in all the 15 constituencies of by elections,”

Replying to a query on delay in announcing compensation from the centre for flood victims, Muralidhar Rao said, “Chief minister B S Yediyurappa is in constant touch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will release funds soon.”

MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Umanath Kotian, Harish Poonja and other party leaders like Prathapsimha Nayak, Brijesh Chowta and others were present.

How Loooong these Benki party leaders fool people by making japa of names such as Congress, Nehru, Gandhi, dynasty etc.,

They are in power for nearly six years..... Why they are serpent snipped when it comes to Job loss, Recession, economic slowdown.. Curfew at JK for 55+ days ,raping/ killings of minorities in JK etc., Just want to runaway from ground realities, hence giving irrelevant media statement. In total they are total failure on administration front. They are only good barking breed....

Either Congress or BJP never say single word about the development rather than blaming each other and playing religious and cast politics. All such programs should be banned and no public should attend such gatherings.

    For your info:
    1. All in J&K are not Dalits & OBC, but definitely they exist in J&K (this is common sense). If you think all J&K people are Pandits, it shows your lack of knowledge.
    2. You got opportunity to type in Daijiworld Comment does not mean you can write anything out of your poor common sense, as Daiji expects sensible comments here
    3. If you refer the case of Upper Caste not allowing MP to enter their village, hope you again have half information. The opposed people are not upper caste, but lower caste. And the MP was not lower caste but Dalit.
    4. Why Congress wants parliamentary approval? To oppose it and dig its own grave? Already many top Congress leaders have indicated their support for abrogation. Vinaasha Kaale Vipareetha Budhdhi?
    5. Article 370 is connected to OBC and Dalit because in J&K, there is neither reserved seats for Dalit in electoral democracy nor reservations in Government job. Removal of article 370 makes sure that Dalits and OBC get their rights there too.

Congress can not oppose article 370 because
    1. majority of its leaders are supporting the abrogation
    2. it may lead to Dalit & OBC backlash throughout the country
    3. congress will loose nationalist minded peoples support
    4. J&K people will stop voting for Congress. Those who oppose BJP, will vote for Muftis & Abdullas

Congress is in catch 22 situation at present & no-one can save it...
BJP can get support for next 50 years because they still have many more issues like
    1. Article 370 abrogation (to win 2024 election)
    2. Ram Mandir Construction (to win 2024 election)
    3. NRC implementation (to win 2029)
    4. Population Control (to win 2029)
    5. Anti conversion (to win 2034)
    6. Corruption free (to win 2034)
    7. River joining (to win 2039)
    8. Tourism development (to win 2039)
    the issues continues like this..

The leaders who lead India will be Modi, Shah, Fadnavis... and if you want to lead India after Fadnavis, this is right time to join BJP.... :-)

Due to 370 India facing isolation from international community especial Arab and rest of the Muslim world.

Reporters from BBC and Reuters covering valley from ground zero and showing it to the world unlike Indian media's censorship. Reports are emerging that troops took over the valley like the way how palestenians are becoming under siege under Zionist army in Israel. Modi and Shah must avoid to adopt the strategy of Zionist regime. Peace in the valley only prevail when we Indians treat a kashmiri like an Indian.

The BJP has slammed Congress for admitting the existence of dynastic politics but numbers show the ruling party isn’t free from the malaise either.

BJP MPs in both houses of parliament, however, shows that the holier than thou attitude of the ruling party may not be justified, after all – 38 of its 281 Lok Sabha MPs and nine of its 56 Rajya Sabha MPs have a strong political lineage or belong to political families.

The fathers of eight of the 38 ‘dynast’ BJP MPs are or were chief ministers or deputy chief ministers. They include sons of incumbent chief ministers Raman Singh of Chhattisgarh and Vasundhara Raje of Rajasthan. Rajveer Singh, MP from Etah in UP, is the son of Rajasthan governor and former chief minister of UP, Kalyan Singh.

Uttar Pradesh tops the list: 12 of the 71 BJP MPs from the state have a political lineage. Bihar is second with five out of 22 and Maharashtra third with four out of 23 BJP MPs qualifying for the ‘dynast’ tag.

Gujarat and Rajasthan have three BJP ‘dynast’ MPs each followed by Chhattisgarh with two MPs. Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Haryana have one MP each in this category.

Is PM Modi giving the Nagas ‘Azadi with Article 371 having a separate constitution, flag, currency and membership of the UN?

Did BJP national general secretary and in charge of Karnataka P Murlidhar Rao knew his party in Uttar Pradesh is where the BJP has had the highest number of dynasts in power?

Muralidhar Rao needs a reality check. Indian citizens cannot rely on Indian institutions for justice. The recent actions of Modi and Shah was a travesty of democracy, constitutionalism and federalism. Dynasty survives in India because institutions are weak.

How are Art. 370 and OBC/Dalits connected ? Are those in J&K OBC/Dalits ? Common man, they are Brahmin Pandiths. What Congress is asking for is the Parliamentary approval for the abrogation and to allow media inside J&K. Why is Modi/Shah afraid to let the actual news come out ?

Shouldn't you have thought about how an uppercast colony in Karnataka refused entry to a Dalit elected minister because he belongs to a lower caste ?

Talk sense people, don't just because you got an opportunity to stand on the dais and have a mike in front.
