Mangaluru: New 'Brahma Ratha' for Kukke Subramanya temple flagged off

Mangaluru, Oct 1: The new chariot 'Brahma Ratha' that is donated to the renowned temple of Kukke Subramanya by entrepreneurs Muttappa Rai Derla and Ajit Shetty was flagged off from Kadri in the city on Tuesday, October 1.

This huge multi-wheel truck, that is carrying the new chariot, had started from Koteshwara on the morning of Monday and reached Mangaluru in the night on the same day and halted at Kadri.

MLAs Vedavyasa Kamath, Dr Bharat Shetty, Harish Kumar, former MLA J R Lobo, president of Kadri temple administrative board A J Shetty, former mayor Bhaskar Moily, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Rakesh Malli, Ashok Kumar D K, Vishwas Kumar Das, Pushparaj Jain, Kallige Taranath Shetty, Sanjeev Madival, Rajgopal Rai, T K Sudhir, president of Kukke Subramanya temple administrative committee Nityananda Mundodi and members were present on the occasion.
