Mangaluru: 'Roshow' on Daijiworld TV hits 200 episodes milestone

Mangaluru, Oct 11: Since its inception on December 7, 2014, the bilingual cooking series, Roshow on Daijiworld 24x7 has been setting a benchmark in the culinary world. With its host Averyl Rodrigues, viewers are treated to delightful cuisines every week. In a breakthrough moment, the show has reached its 200 episode mark, and the journey for the team has been a tasteful one. The immense popularity and the love amassed by Roshow truly set for a celebratory atmosphere.

Amidst every milestone achieved, Roshow celebrated it by inviting a special guest. On occasion of the 200th episode, for the very first time, Roshow was recorded in front of a live audience. Along with this, the host of the show, Averyl Rodrigues gave the reins for the day to the chefs of the renowned catering company, Kamath Caterers. The show will be telecast on Daijiworld Television on Sunday, October 13 at 11:30 am.

With studio packed with invited audience beaming with happiness, the chefs prepared some of their speciality dishes for the audience to devour.

The audience members were also treated to fun activities, where winners won interesting vouchers from Sun Premium, Hangyo and Apple Mart, the sponsors of the episode.

About Roshow

Roshow is Averyl Rodrigues' cookery show that presents delicious recipes for homemakers and food lovers. The name 'Roshow' is derived from the Konkani word 'Roso' which, like its Persian counterpart Rasoi, means a kitchen.

Roshow connects one to their traditional roots, by hosting seasonal, continental and regional recipes. One of the prominent qualities of the show is the use of minimum oil, which makes the dish healthier to eat and quicker to cook.

Roshow even has its presence on different social media channels. Currently, the videos on YouTube have garnered over 1.8m views and the channel has over 11.1K subscribers.

About Averyl Rodrigues

Management and accounts professional in the past, Averyl began her delightful journey as an editor of the recipe column on daijiworld.com back in 2004.

On her inspiration for Roshow, Averyl says, "People enjoyed my recipes on the blog and appreciated it which ignited my enthusiasm for cooking, and the inception of the show."

Averyl's YouTube channel, 'The Roshow - Daiji Kitchen,' is quite popular among food lovers globally.

In March 2015, she won 'Swad Kaju Ka' cookery contest organised by Cashew Growers Association in Mangaluru.

She was also a proud finalist at the national-level contest of, 'Bring Your Tastiest Bowl' conducted by Quaker India and judged by celebrity chef Vikas Khanna in October 2016, at Taj Palace, New Delhi.

Averyl Rodrigues has successfully made a home for herself in the hearts of food lovers across the world. Her passion for food and zest for life is evident from her persona on camera and off camera. Her delightful, mouth-watering treats are a blessing for everyone. She describes cooking as an intricate art, a flavourful explosion that the chef creates for the palate.
