Udupi: Breach of trust - Housemaid flees with gold ornaments

Udupi, Oct 14: It is reported that a woman hired to assist the family in household chores escaped with gold ornaments. 

A lady, Prema Lambani (21), had been hired to function as housemaid in the residence of Dr Shobha Kamath living in Ishwaranagara Manipal from August 18. Dr Shobha has complained that Prema stole 250 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 8, 75,00 and made good her escape.

 

Manipal police, who have registered a case, are investigating.

    Sad. Soory I would say,when a unknown person is at home as a maid without knowing who she is ,her character,one should be careful about own money,or gold.or valueables.keep things in safety,not so open .Sometimes a chance too makes one a thief.One is responsible for own valueables.No need to cry later.does one have her foto,or her origin place etc. can search .She must be enjoying it now.There are groups of people who just bring a employee where one can have more than job but more than that.

    Dear Mrh. Your statement is 100 percent correct. Truth is worse than medicine for few people. They want to tell the truth as preached by their leader. They have to lie all the time so that opposit person will think that he is telling the truth. This is one of British policy.
