Dubai: Kudla Musical Fiesta on Oct 18 – Arjun Kapikad is star attraction

Dubai, Oct 14: The Mangalurean community living in Dubai has a reason to celebrate as the ‘Kudla Musical Fiesta’ will be held at Club Everest on October 18. 

The fiesta will have Mangaluru’s famed ‘Band Charitra’ performing and presence of Coastalwood celebrity Arjun Kapikad will be the main highlight of the evening. 

Young and talented DJ Royan is all set with his dancing ‘rock and roll’ numbers and will entertain the crowd along with Band Charitra. Highly acclaimed emcee Uttam Menezes along with Party Spinners, the event presenters in Dubai will make sure that no stone is left unturned in making the event remarkable, successful and truly impressive.

 

Arjun Kapikad is a well known actor in Coastalwood. He is son of famous Tulu theatre and cinema celebrity Devadas Kapikad and Sharmila Kapikad. Hailing from an ethnic Tulu speaking community, Kapikad obtained his MBA degree from SDM College of Business Management and thereafter dedicated his life for acting. Karne, Yera Ullerge, Rang, Are Marler and Barsa are some among the many movies he has acted. Recently he married Kavya. 

Kapikad has won ‘Red FM Tulu Film Award 2014 - Best Actor for Telikeda Bolli’, ‘Tulu Cinemotsava Awards 2015 - Best Actor (public choice) for Rang’ and ‘Tulu Cinemotsava Awards 2015 -Best Emerging Actor.’

 

‘Band Charitra’ is a unique band and has passionate and most promising musicians who believe in creating music which resonates in the hearts of people. The Band Charitra consists of Loy Valentine Saldanha (music producer / keyboardist / vocalist), Melwyn Antony D'Souza (song writer / lead vocalist), Patson Pereira (music producer / lead guitarist), Ian Sachin Saldanha (drummer / percussion / vocalist), Rikith Soans (bass guitarist / vocalist), Akshada Talaulikar (playback singer / Global Konkani Best Female Singer), Sharwin Maben (Western Vocalist / Performer). 

Dominic Vijay Mathias, manager at Club Everest has always backed good events and is a well-known name in Dubai for promoting Mangalurean talents. He has also successfully hosted ‘Kudla Night’ and ‘Coastal Night’ and   now back with Desi rock band Charitra he is looking forward to host ‘Kudla Musical Fiesta’. The scintillating performance will begin at 7 pm on October 18 at Club Everest Resto Bar located at Astoria Hotel in Bur Dubai.
