Mumbai, Aug 3: The much-hyped finale of Rakhi Sawant's 'swayamvar' on NDTV Imagine gave the channel its highest Television Rating Points (TRPs) ever since its launch in January 2008.

The final episode of the show "Rakhi Ka Swayamwar", which saw the item girl announcing Toronto-based businessman Elesh Parujanwala as her ideal groom, registered a TRP of 6.3 on Sunday night. According to overnight audience measurement agency aMap, it has been the highest TRPs so far for the channel.

The finale came after over a month of putting 16 men to test their compatibility with the bride-to-be.

Three final contestants -- including Delhi-based Manas Katyal and Chhitiz Jain, apart from Elesh -- had come with their families for the swayamvar at the grand event held at The Leela Kempinsky hotel here.

The show was a success since beginning as even its pioneer episode, which aired June 29, recorded a 3.5 TRP - the highest ratings among all the previous launches of NDTV Imagine, said aMap in a release.
