Puttur: Attempt to outrage modesty of woman on train - One arrested

Puttur, Oct 23: A man tried to outrage the modesty of a woman, who was travelling by train, on Wednesday, October 23. 

The woman was travelling from Nettana on the train. A person tried to manhandle her. She immediately pulled the chain and stopped the train. The man, who got down from the train and started to run away, was caught by the public. 

The arrested person is identified as Manju, a resident of Kengeri in Bengaluru. 

The woman has safely reached Puttur.

 

A case stands registered in Puttur police station. The information about the incident has been relayed to the railway police also.

    whats going on in mangalore ?These chics have no other things in mind than to concentrate on women to outrage their modesty or rape?Jobless men?or drugs and alcohol.?When they do this to other women ,I am sure they have no respect to their own mother,sister?Public has done a good job .to catchhold of him and give to police.

    This unfortunate incident happened on a running train. The criminal happens to be from Kengeri (Bangalore). The victim was traveling to Puttur which perhaps is her native place. That’s why unfortunately Puttur had to be mentioned in the news. And all parents irrespective of religion are duty bound to take care of their children.
