Bantwal, Oct 23: The driver of a KSRTC bus was seriously injured in an accident involving the bus and a tipper at Kambalabettu, Vittal on Wednesday, October 23.
Several passengers in the bus were also injured in the incident.
The KSRTC bus was on its way from Vittal to Puttur while the tipper was heading to Vittal. The bus hit the tipper at Kambalabettu. Though bus driver was seriously injured, the passengers in the bus have escaped with minor injuries.
Some of the injured were admitted to Vittal Community Health Center and the others were taken to a hospital in Puttur. Vittal station police personnel visited the spot and conducted spot inspection.
