Ankola: Ship stranded in Arabian Sea due to fierce weather conditions rescued

Ankola, Oct 25: A ship that was stranded in Belekeri near Ankola, Uttara Kannada district due to fierce weather conditions and rains was rescued by coastal security force. 

The ship with the name ‘Sai Kalasha’ with nine seamen was on its way from Mumbai to Mangaluru port. 

The ship is anchored in Belekeri port at present. 

Both the ship and the seamen are safe. 

The incident happened in Ankola police station limits.
