Day after Dushyant's support to BJP, father Ajay Chautala gets parole

Gurgaon, Oct 26 (Agencies) : Jannayak Janta Party leader Dushyant Chautala's father Ajay Chautala, who is lodged in the Tihar jail after his conviction in a teachers recruitment scam, has been granted a two-week leave from jail, officials said.

Ajay Chautala is scheduled to leave Tihar jail either on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, officials said.

According to Director General (Prisons) Sandeep Goel, Ajay Chautala has been granted a two-week furlough and it will start from the day he will step out of the jail premises.

He has been lodged in jail along with his father and former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala.

Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya invited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday to form the government after the party staked claim with the support of the JJP.

    Dear Rathan, it is not double standards. BJP came to power promising change. BJP can't makes mistakes what Congress or others did. And that's why people have them a mandates. My only contention here is that none of them are holy saints. Everyone are corrupt. If you compare BJP to what the Congress and JDS did then where is the difference ??

    Ajay Chautala and his father Om Prakash Chautala involved in the illegal recruitments of thousands of teachers. In 2013, a Delhi court had convicted both of them. They were also held guilty of accepting bribes in exchange recruitments of teachers.

    The BJP had failed to secure the majority in Haryana’s 90-member assembly. Dushyant’s JJP, which won 10 seats, had fought the elections campaigning against the BJP. However, on Friday, he stunned many of his own supporters by meeting Home Minister Amit Shah to pledge his support to the BJP.

    Incidentally, Dushyant had also met his father inside the Tihar jail on Friday, the day he extended his party’s support to the BJP. Under the BJP-JJP deal, while Manohar Lal Khattar will be sworn in as the state’s chief minister, Chautala is likely to become the new deputy chief minister.

    Haters won't agree but the ease of doing business has actually improved under Modi Govt. Yesterday, Dushyant Chautala gave support to BJP and today his father Ajay Chautala has been granted furlough from jail.

    BJP should just declare Tihar as their next Union Territory after Kashmir. Get full control in 'national interest'. Conduct elections there too with 100% polling.

    The new term of CM Khattar development slogan, 'Haryana ek, Haryanvi ek', seems to proved once again right after murder convict Gopal Kanda extended support and makes corrupt allies in teachers scam ruling partner.

    It won't surprise if BJP wanted support they will even approach 'Hafiz Saeed' from Pakistan to stay in power.
