Kalaburagi, Oct 27: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa has yet again got relief in the audio tape case related to Operation Lotus. The high court bench of Gulbarga postponed the trial of the application of Sharanagouda Patil, son of Gurmitkal MLA Naganagouda Kandkur.
The then chief minister of the state, H D Kumaraswamy, had released an audio CD in which it was alleged that the then BJP state president and leader of opposition Yediyurappa had offered Rs 10 crore to MLA Naganagouda to defect to BJP. A case was registered and the trial had begun on the same.
The judge, who heard the arguments and counter arguments of the lawyers representing the applicant and the opposite party and postponed the trial to November 7.

Atleast we are not corrupt .we are contributing large amounts to states kitty in terms of tac and payment of bills on time

The audio tape will be declared doctored and fake.
Based on above he will get a clean chit from the courts.
