Hangzhou, Nov 3 (IANS): Marius Kimutai of Bahrain clocked two hours, 10 minutes and five seconds to win the men's race at the 2019 Hangzhou Marathon here on Sunday.
A total of 36,000 runners from 58 countries and regions took part in the full marathon on the "most beautiful course", which is mainly alongside the world cultural heritage "West Lake", reports Xinhua news agency.
Kenyan runners swept the women's top three finishes, with Agness Jeruto Barsosio clocking 2:25:20 to win the title.
The 2019 Hangzhou Marathon also featured half marathon, mini marathon, couples run, and kids/family run. The applicants reached a record high of nearly 140,000.
