Puttur: Allegation of raping lady teacher - Headmaster in judicial custody

Puttur, Nov 13: Headmaster of government higher primary school at Padmunja in Beltangady taluk, Manjunath (41), was arrested by Uppinangady police and produced in the court on Tuesday November 12. The court remanded him to judicial custody for 15 days. 

A lady teacher, working for the school on contract basis in the past, had accused Manjunath of having raped her. She said Manjunath promised to ensure that she was absorbed on permanent employment and had raped her on April 14 last. She had explained in her complaint to Uppinangady police that because she was feeling threatened and hurt at the unexpected incident, she had not filed police complaint. 

The Uppinangady police made the arrest on Tuesday from Uppinangady.

    Here the case is clear.one dont need any mirror to see your palm.so is here also.Head master had his good time.She played her game hoping for a permanent job.Now he must have had enough from her,no job,also last she had only one way to file a case which certainly will be taken up by people and police.How far she will come must see now.She should be now face the truth and tell the truth.Head master too is not without fault.certainly he too must accept the matter.punish both.

    In other words, she obliged on the hopes of securing a permanent job and when outcome was not in her favour, consensual sex turned into a rape claim.

    It looks she would not have complained of rape, had she been given employment. If the cheque is honoured, it is not rape, it is rape if it is bounced. She waited that long to complain, thinking she would get job.

    Jossey, do you have any idea of forceful rape and consensual sex ....
    Even there is no evidence or proof of consented intercourse ....
    The lady might be accusing the headmaster with fictitious stories, our law allows to arrest anybody on a compliant of a women ....
    Why did the lady keep mum for all those months, grapes are sour kind of case ....
    If it is a false allegation, then the concerned person's life and reputation is shattered, few years back such an incident happened with Telugu actor Suman Talwar, later it turned out to be false charges ....
    On what basis, you want him to be castrated ???
