"No man should hit his wife, even if wife had to attack him first.. husband has only right to defend ..............................."
All such logic depends on the gravity of situation. when both parties are on their height of abuses, claims and counter claims & denials the patience goes beyond tolerance and suddenly things become topsy turvy .

Thu, Nov 14 2019Since she is domiciled in a third country she to approach local police to lodge a complaint and also should seek Indian Embassy assistance find out solution.
Police /Interior ministry may take right action on her husband or pack them all for good.

Thu, Nov 14 2019Whatever be the fact, assaulting and injuring the wife is not acceptable. Husband and wife have many civilised options, in such circumstances

Thu, Nov 14 2019Need to listen other side of the story also. Please don't make judgement just by listening to one side of the story. I am not against the lady in the news. But need to make sure that before passing any comments, it is fair to listen to the story of the gentlemen(?) also.

I myself put the question mark because I want to know the real truth by hearing the story of both sides. The habit of making a judgement by hearing only one side of the story is not RIGHT. There are cases where the ladies do all kinds of drama to trouble their husband because their married life is not going smooth.
By the way, what is the problem in hearing the story from other side? May I kindly know?

May I kindly know from you why you want to listen only one side of the story? Why you are hesitant to listen the story of other side?
There is no competition here to quickly pass the comment. Need to have patience before painting others in black.

Thu, Nov 14 2019No man should hit his wife, even if wife had to attack him first.. husband has only right to defend himself if wife has a weapon (like fish fry pan, for example), by pulling the weapon or so, but that's all. It is a crime to beat wife world-wide esp in developed world ....

I fully agree with you, provided any of the commentators is eyewitness.
Only her statement should not be the criteria to just agree and decide our comment.
Do we Indians should continue our habit of believing the hearsay and rumors to take our decision?

I pity for the woman to undergo such a physical pain. But, just blame her husband for this is not RIGHT.
When the lady went to twitter, the main motive is definitely defaming husband.
As husband has not cut off her communication channels (because she had internet, hence can not blame her husband for stopping the communication channels), she could have hundreds of ways to rescue herself. Going to twitter is the sole intention of defaming.
Her act of going to twitter will have lots of repercussions such as (a) husband looses job, who is breadwinner for many including herself (b) husband will be in jail and no other jobs he may get in the near future also (c) the chances of reconciliation is lost (d) 2 small children will become like orphans... so on and so forth. A patience and resilience could have made her life better than her bad sole intent of defaming husband.

Thu, Nov 14 2019Looks really she is in need of help.so long one doesnt know the locality ,how far her twitter true etc.should also be noted first.what are rules in UAE ,when a married woman with kids want to get out,,her visa is depending on husbands name etc.whereas I heard in some muslim country like in Tunesia married woman cant travel with kids etc without husbands permission.mostly family visa is in husbands name. She too can go to indian Embassy and ask for help,In which difficult situation she is also noone know.Hope Our Indian Embassy may findout and help her.Have to take care how her husband may react suppose one goes to help.Thatswhy she should appeal to police on place if something is criminally attached.
