These bureaucrats are scared of the politicians. It's purely the internal matter of police department. No need to justify to the goons. Hello Miss Nisha talk with the same ghuts and spirit the way you spoke in shirva church to the Christian public regarding Fr.Mahesh case

If legislators and religious organisations interfere in the working of the police department, how will the police be able to do a fair a just job? I am totally in favour of the department in case they have suspended the cop for dereliction of duty. The department should hold its ground and not succumb to the pressure tactics of those who are against the suspension.

Madam, we don't need explanation. If the SI has not followed police mannual action has to be taken. Let the SI go to court if he is falsely suspended.

SP Nisha James wants to increase patrolling for drink driving in Manipal and Udupi and charge relevant fines, but some politicians and associates have hotels and bars, so they are targeting her indirectly....

Shankar Mangalore, Pls know the hierarchy of each and every department. SP will not directly involve, as per the hierarchy it works (Circle inspector or SHO to SP). Yes, maybe it was recommended to IGP by your SP, it is as per the norms. Why are you scratching your head? Why /what you are worried about? Let their own dept. to take care of the issue? If any case investigation prolonged, you have compliant against police. If SI suspended due to lack of his responsibility, you have compliant. Why. Finally what do you want? Let juniors do as per their will and wish and senor top keep silent?

Why are you worked up Sir? Just because the SP happens to be Christian?
The SI had a reputation of good work in Udupi. He tried to contain a problem within the limits. Considering the sensitivity of the district, what he had done is perfectly right, for everyone except for the power houses at the top.

Shanker Mangalore, Widen your horizon. Christian or Hindu or Muslim or Sikh, they work for Indian constitutional bound dept. which have its own protocol which they have to follow without cast and creed of the officer hold the position. I know your way of thinking. Don’t think too much and favor the suspended SI. Let the concern Dept. to handle the issue. Don’t pull cast and creed issue?

When opposition leaders get targeted by ED, IT & CBI it is law will take its on course, but when their henchmen do violate public peace & order no action should be taken against them or those in Police department who support them, why?
According to present law unless amended no police officer can deny the right to complainants to file cases or petition, if they do so then they are liable to be suspended, why the local MLA sees red in this?

Legislators should mind their own business - passing legislation, and should not interfere with administrative matters. I would dismiss the suspended police for seeking interference of politicians and keep the morale of police force high.
