Mangaluru: Tragic- Fifth standard student commits suicide by hanging

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Nov 27: In a very tragic incident, a fifth standard student ended her life by hanging on Wednesday, November 27.

Dhruvi is the little girl who is the unfortunate victim.

She was studying in a private school in Kinnigoli.

As per reports, there was no school on Wednesday due to a feast at the local church. Dhruvi was watching television for some time. When electricity went off, she was told by her grandmother to study. Dhruvi was seen going to the room inside. When she did not come out for long, the grandmother went inside to check and found Dhruvi was hanging by the window. She had used the hair ribbon for hanging.

More details are awaited.

She is not 5 year girl. May be 10 to 11 year old. Now a days 10 year child is equivalent to 17 year youngster of 1970s. They are exposed to bad world. (Kali yuga)

Teleserials show cause suicide, murder, plotting to murder, domestic cruelty as solutions to problems which can impact innocent minds. Parents should know what to watch before their children. Very sad to lose such a young soul.

It is shocking and unbelieve that a fifth standard can commit suicide for a flimsy reason. There should be more behind this incident. A thorough investigation by the concerned authorities will reveal the actual cause of this. RIP young girl. Life is short but you made it shorter. I could say it was God's will and nobody is above him.

With the current influence of mobile, social media and TV there is hardly any time for prayers and without prayers no protection from God for sure. Parents need to pray for their children's safety, guide them and make sure children also pray for themselves otherwise whatever worldly influence they get they are likely to follow.

    Shocking!

Just recalling…..few years back after having some argument with his mother, our 9 year old son was caught by his grandmother while he was trying to tie his mother’s duppata into windows grills.
While asking him what are you doing ? What this dupatta is doing ? his reply was "nothing" with a smile. We were confused whether to take that incident seriously or lightly.

    Om shanti Dhruvi.

In Movie theaters for PG15 movies children's doesn't allow in some of the countries, My son also not allowed for movie PK in a country which was PG15. Even Bahubali was PG15. But when any such kind of movie broadcast in TV we don't follow and will watch with children's does is it make any sense ?

Children's mind is very sensitive, they will not understand the depth of such act and where it will end up.Difficult to understand what steps they can take at any time.

There should be some restrictions for Movie or serials to show or parents should sacrifice their enjoyment until your child get mature.

because of tv serials, movies, and also mainly because of mobile phones and also because of free internet all these tragedies happening. Before the internet was more costlier that time people were afraid to use internet, but now free inernet, wifi, less amout of packages, for kids it is very easy to watch each and everything.First of all internet shud become costlier, and also it is useful in working places. THEY HAVE TO PUT TERMS AND CONDITION FOR INTERNET ,AND THEY SHUD SEE WHICH PLACE IT IS GOING TO USE, AFTER ENQUIRY THEN ONLY INTERNET SHUD BE INSTALLED. KIDS GOT TO KNOW EACH AND EVERYTHING AT THEIR SMALL AGE,AND THEY ASK SOME QUESTIONS WHICH ELDERS ARE SHAMEFUL TO ANSWER.

What ?? Oh my God. This is really alarming. A 5th grader shouldn't even think on those terms. At an innocent age where this should have been enjoying life, our kids are exposed to harsher, negative aspects. Our tv serials are filled with negativity, our households are busy watching them, getting influenced negatively and spreading them to others in the family. This is really really sad. May her soul be forgiven and may her soul rest in peace.

What did i just read ? A fifth-standard student . Schools and parents need to take more care towards personal and mental growth of kids these days . Depression , being lonely , quite , angry these are some symptoms that need counselling or psychiatric treatment . Many a times we think that visiting a Psychiatric doctor , means the person has lost his mental health completely , that is not the case these days kids live their own world , with technology and mobile phones surrounded everywhere we need to change our mind set . Spend more times with your kids outdoors , make sure they adapt to yoga which helps them to calm themselves down during such tricky situations . My condolences to the family members.

Ohh my God, what a tragedy, such a small angel is taking decision to die. This is only because of government policies. In our school time there was punishment to correct the mistakes. But now there is no punishment. There is no chance to correct the mistakes of the children. Because of this only such kind of acts done by kids. Punishment should be there in schools to correct the children, then only they learn to bear the things.
