A well organised energetic event. the best part was the program started exactly on time! not even a minute delay!! Audience occupancy was very less at that time (although it was fully occupied later) still they didn't wait and wasted the time of those who came on time. This should be the trend and people will eventually start coming on time. I remember MCCP also had tried this when dileep correa was president and after some programs, people started coming on time.

Another special thing about the event was, there was no religious prayer song or prayer to start the event. instead, national anthem of both Oman and India were played. not having any religious prayer also broadened the boundary of konkani not restricting to any one religion.

all the programs were well organised and the crowed enjoyed every bit of it. whole credit goes to the committee for it. Many including me did not expect the program to be so successful but the response of the people after the event was completely different. congratulations to the committee and it is also your responsibility to keep up the same standard in your future programs.

The Konkani Utsav program planned & presented by the Mangalurean Konkani Wing of the Indian Social Club, wherein I was personally involved as an executive committee member, was a successful event. I must proudly admit that every artist played their roles beautifully. Singing of the Konkani songs was unique, as all the singers rocked the stage with action and perfect attire. Jane Ida Pais Pinto put extraordinary efforts to give an extraordinary touch to those beautiful Konkani Songs. Further, young and energetic dancers of the Konkani community put a great show with their dazzling dances.
Our favourite anchor of the Mangalurean Konkani Community in Oman, Dilip Correa was fabulous with his brilliant Konkani vocabulary. As usual, he started the program right on time; just late by 30 seconds! Charming and sensational event presenter Lavina D'Sa presented Super Jodi 2019 in a fantastic manner and was loved by the entire audience.
Skits were superb.....skit artists were brilliant in their performance.
I must add a word on our Convener, Mr. Clarence Pinto for his meticulous planning and dedicated leadership. He had a vision to present this Konkani Utsav in a unique manner. I am sure his dream has been fulfilled through this event.
Overall, Konkani Utsav was an enthralling event for the packed audience at the multipurpose hall of ISC.
