Mumbai, Aug 31: The elections for the executive committee of women wing under metro based Billava Association was held at Billava Bhavan, here on Saturday August 29.

Jayanti V Ullal was elected as president, while S Poojary and Laxmi N Kotian were unanimously elected as vice-president and honorary secretary, respectively. Executive committee office-bearers were elected in an extraordinary general body meeting, chaired by All India Billava Federation and Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna.
 
Sumalata V Amin, Sumitra S Bangera, Prabha K Bangera, Laxmi Poojary, Prameela Kotian, Chandrakala R Suvarna, Vilasini K Salian, Susheela Poojary, Jyoti G Suvarna, Asha Anchan, Geetanjali Salian and Prema R Kotian were elected as committee members.
 
Lawyer Rohini J Salian, Sunita Vittal and Nirmala Sanil were elected to advisory committee. Billava Association vice-president L V Amin, Nityanand D Kotian and honorary chief secretary Jyoti K Suvarna were present on the dais.
