Brahmeens’ Association Conducts ‘Maha Ganapati Yaga’

Mumbai, Aug 31:
“Lord Ganesh is worshipped worldwide by innumerable devotees as he protects them from all perils in life and brings them heavenly bliss”, said Sri Krishna Vittal Pratistan founder Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanath Bhat.
 
Bhat was speaking during a discourse held as part of the ‘Maha Ganapati Yaga’ at Gokul Bhavan, Sion (East), here on Sunday August 30.  The Yaga was organized by Gopal Krishna Public Trust under the aegis of the Bombay South Kanara Brahmeens’ Association (BSKBA).
 


The Yaga was held under the leadership of Vedamurti Gururaj Udupa and Gokul chief priest Hari Bhat. 
 
BSKBA president Dr Suresh S Rao, honorary secretary A P K Poti, Gopal Krishna Public Trust secretary Dr P G Rao, puja committee secretary J K Bhat, Tara Bala Rao, B B Rao, and Vishwanath U Mada were present on the occasion.
 
The ‘Rangoli’ of Lord Ganesh drawn by brothers Ramakant Nakshatri and Ravi Nakshatri of suburban Mira Road, was a major attraction for the large gathering
