Saligao, Dec 8: Witnessing water problems in several parts of Bardez and Mapusa, North Goa Pradesh Congress committee warned PWD of dire consequences.
The committee also voiced concerns over the increasing prices of onions and other daily commodities under the BJP-ruled government.
Earlier today, president of the Mapusa block Congress, Vijai Bhike said, “The water mafia is diverting water to certain areas and depriving people who need water. Some areas are receiving ample water while other areas are not getting sufficient water.”
Further, Bhike stated that the committee will be forced to take law in their own hands if the water crisis is not solved at the earliest.
